He has held a number of senior roles with a multi-jurisdictional corporate services provider where he managed large teams servicing a multi-national client portfolio. His main focuses are within multi-national enterprises, private equity, real estate and corporate structures.

Allard primarily specialises in capital markets, structured finance and financial regulatory compliance. He also served on the boards of various companies involving debt financing. Previously, Allard worked at Deutsche Bank AG as an Assistant Vice President in Structured Finance. Prior to this, he worked at Capital Markets Intertrust Group as a Transaction Manager.

Johan is Managing Partner of Maples and Calder (Luxembourg) at the Maples Group, where he is head of the Luxembourg Funds & Investment Management team. Johan has focussed on fund structuring / formation and regulated financial business for the majority of his career. He advises managers and investors of collective investment funds, with a particular focus on alternative funds (including private equity, debt, infrastructure, real estate and hedge funds) and their management entities. Johan joined the Maples Group in 2018. He was previously a partner in the Financial Services and Investment Management group at Dechert. Prior to that, Johan was a partner in the investment management practice of an international firm headquartered in the Netherlands. Johan has been recognised as a 'highly regarded' lawyer by IFLR1000 and a 'leading individual' by Legal500.

Arnaud is head of Maples and Calder (Luxembourg)'s Finance team at the Maples Group. He has extensive experience in cross border financing and banking transactions, including corporate debt facilities, acquisition, asset and real estate financing and restructurings, funds financing in connection with the setting up of bridge and capital commitment facilities, securitisations, as well as capital markets matters. He represents both borrowers (including private equity and hedge funds) and lenders on lending transactions and all types of secured transactions, advising in particular on the setting up of security packages and issues surrounding collateral in the context of debt restructuring transactions. Outside of Maples Arnaud teaches a course dedicated to securities and financial services law for graduate students at the Nancy University School of Law.
